Referee shot dead during football match in Argentina

A referee, César Flores was shot dead during a football match in Argentina by a player he had sent off.

During the game, the referee sent off a young player for flooring another playerand the angry player shot the referee three times in Cordoba in central Argentina on Monday, February, 15.
The attacker also shot another footballer, Walter Zárate in the chest and is currently on the run. The other player that was shot however survived the gunshot woundsccording to local police the attacker had a gun in his backpack where he withdrew it from 20 minutes into the game to kill the Flores and shoot Zárate.
The 48-year Flores was shot three times which landed on his head, chest and neck.
"It all happened during the match," a police spokesman is quoted to say by Daily Mail.
"We don't know what happened with the referee but the player was angry and went to get his gun and killed him."
